Virginia Classic 2009 Results

A Paca Fun Farm’s show results for the 2009 Virginia Classic were quite similar to our placement at the 2009 Carolina Celebration. We had some repeat champions, but just like any other great team some different players also rose to the occasion

We showed a total of 10 alpacas at the Virginia Classic. All placed, producing 6 blue ribbons and 3 banners

Once again, A Paca Fun’s Sedona was the huacaya brown female Color Champion while A Paca Fun’s Intrigue was the huacaya gray male color champion. We don’t usually enter the yearling bred and owned class but decided to enter these multiple banner winners. The result; blue ribbons for both!

Exhibited in his first show, Intrigue’s younger full brother, A Paca Fun’s Mithril was the blue ribbon winner in a class of 10 juvenile gray males. A great example of breeding consistency, Mithril will give his older brother a real run for his money in championship classes in 2009

Our daughter Bari has her own farm and farm name, “Paragon Alpacas”. Her black huacaya male, Paragon’s Incognito, showed his stuff in Virginia winning the black huacaya male Color Championship.

We look forward to continued show ring success with all of these alpacas. Our next outing will be the North American Alpaca Show. NAIS has traditionally been a very competitive event, and will be a nice challenge for our show string. Please stop by and say “hi” if you see us at the show!
